Located on the shore of the Beagle Channel, a popular connection between Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, lies Ushuaia. It is the most southern city on our planet. It is lying on the island Tierra del Fuego, which is separated from the South-American continent by the Maggellan Street, another shortcut for navy vessels to avoid navigating around Cape Horn.

On a boat tour on the Beagle Channel many sea lions and cormorans can be seen. And the National Park of Tierra del Fuego has some very good spots to observe beavers and the 'damage' they cause to the woods.
